Radioshuttle® Features

  • Every Radioshuttle® power supply has been designed to exceed a full shift of operation between battery changes. Radioshuttle® offers battery solutions in Lithium and Lead Gel Acid.

  • Mounted on the lower middle face of the Radioshuttle®, the pedestrian protection scanner scans a predefined field for anything that may come into contact with the shuttle and load. If it detects an obstacle, the shuttle will decelerate and stop at a safe distance.

    The shuttle complies with the latest CE norm, (EN 13849-1:2016), which requires a pedestrian protection like scanner. This allows its top speed to be 3X as fast as if it weren’t certified. The shuttle provides ultimate safety.

  • Large, clear, and easily readable from the operator’s lift truck, the CID provides direct feedback, important for your operation:

    • The function the shuttle is executing.

    • Immediate shuttle status control including service codes to make the operation safer and more productive.

    • A lane’s capacity, total cycles, etc.

    All these features are standard for Radioshuttle®.

  • Radioshuttle® is designed to carry a maximum of 1,800 kg capacity. The rugged drive and lift system will run for many trouble-free years in an industrial environment.

  • With a total of six predefined lights and an internal speaker, communicating with the operator is a snap. The operator is never left guessing what the status is of a Radioshuttle®, in operation or at rest. This gives you a faster, safer and more friendly operation.

  • You can choose one of two options to control your shuttle:

    1 - A truck-mounted, one-touch operation remote control.

    2 - A Warehouse Management/Control HMI screen with a customized menu operating on your existing Wi-Fi network.

  • The Radioshuttle® top speed with and without load is the fastest in the industry – but that is only half the story. Radioshuttle® leads the world with the shortest time from executing a command to the completion of each command. In other words, Radioshuttle® will handle more pallets in a shorter time.

  • Looking for a system to help manage your industrial equipment? Radioshuttle® is compatible with fleet management tools like iWarehouse. It can easily be incorporated into your fleet management program for data reporting and complete warehouse optimization.

  • Four LED position aiming lights guide the operator’s forks to the correct position to carry the shuttle. These high strength light beams are a critical part of the overall transportation system. The light beams help to position forks faster and safer and reduce the risk of potential damage.

  • The unique anti-slip surface keeps the shuttle firmly in position during transport and considerably reduces the risk of potential damage. There is also a changeable anti-slip surface on the shuttle’s lifting pads which holds the load firmly in position and provides faster, safer, and trouble-free load handling.

Radioshuttle® Applications

  • FILO - First In Last Out

    For SKU’s that can be treated one group per lane, pallet handling will take place in the main aisle. This means that the rack can be made much deeper than ordinary high-density racking systems.

    Furthermore, the truck doesn’t need to stand and wait for the shuttle, it is free to work elsewhere. This produces a high rate of turnover while halving the truck’s handling time. As the shuttle works on levels, the goods only need to be uniform within one level of the section. This means a high rate of capacity utilization and a high rate of accessibility.

  • FIFO - First In First Out

    Use Radioshuttle® in your facility as a means to store date critical items that require the first pallets in to be the first pallets out.

    Radioshuttle® can be used to reorganize your pallets and, when required, move all pallets closer to the unloading point.

  • MEZZANINE

    The Radioshuttle® system, in combination with a structural mezzanine, will benefit your facility in many ways.

    Open space for staging of product is created at ground level with buffer storage just on top of it – without sacrificing selectivity of goods.

    This solution will maximize the usage of your existing available warehouse space. Loading of trucks will be optimized, resulting in less overall transport time.

    A mezzanine for staging is perfect for when space is limited such as in cold stores.

  • PICK TUNNEL

    The Radioshuttle® system easily combines with a dynamic pallet flow case pick tunnel.

    Used in combination, replenishment pallets are stored at upper levels to feed pallet flow pick lanes at lower levels. All case picking takes place from within a picking tunnel that passes through the rack at ground level.

    The buffer pallets are handled by trucks and the Radioshuttle® in a separate truck corridor: An efficient and space-saving way of storing pallets in the immediate vicinity of picking and at the same time achieving a safe pick aisle.

    A Pick Tunnel is ideal for the beverage industry which supplies a mixture of full pallets as well as split pallet / case picking despatches.

Radioshuttle® - Optional Extras

  • Work Platform

    This ingenious vehicle can be manoeuvred into place with standard lift trucks – and the operator can carry out maintenance functions in a safe and secure environment.

  • Parking Station

    Radioshuttle® parking station is designed to accommodate the Radioshuttle® when it’s not in operation and when the user wants to move them away from the system. For example, in a warehouse that only operates 16 hours/day, the shuttle can be parked in the rack and charged without removing the batteries.

  • Charging Station

    The charging station helps you to extend battery life and keep an ergonomic and safe environment. In each charging station, there is space for two sets of batteries (four individual battery cassettes). The battery cassettes are placed in an easily extendable drawer equipped with automatic power engagement. When the drawer is closed the charging starts automatically.

  • Remote Control

    The operation of the remote is so simple and so straightforward that very little training is required for an operator to become fluent in its use. It is designed to work in ambient and, of course, frozen temperatures and will even work when the operator wears thick insulated gloves.
